My work allows me to be creative and still use my technological skills, while being with a great group of people. As a lab tech, I construct all the retainers and corrective appliances for our patients, making sure that they fit properly and that they do their job. I’ve been working in orthodontics since 1976 and my work still fascinates me. At home, my husband and I love spending time with our children. Vacationing in Venice, FL is one of my great passions, but I also enjoy being in the kitchen and creating new desserts, and going on day trips to find treasures in antique stores and boutiques.
Clinical Assistant, Treatment Coordinator
Here in the office, I wear many hats. Luckily, I like all of them and they allow me to do what I enjoy most: helping people! Whether I am assisting the doctor in caring for patients, coordinating and arranging treatment plans, or tracking our supplies, I know I am making a difference. Along the way, I get to meet and know our patients, who are incredible. I really am a lucky woman, because I have a job I love and at home, I have a great family. My husband and I have been married for 31 years and we have four children, plus a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and two mischievous cats. My favorite times are those spent with family and friends, but I also like traveling, shopping, and cooking. I’m active in our church and regularly go on mission trips, too.
My job keeps me on my toes, as I am constantly learning about new technologies and treatment processes. Working as part of a great team, and helping our patients throughout their orthodontic treatments, means my day is busy and fulfilling. The relationships that build between our patients and our staff create a large, happy family, and I’m glad to be a part of that. When not at work, I spend time with my husband and our daughter, and keep track of our son, who’s in law school. We like being together, playing games, watching movies, visiting with extended family members, and taking walks with our dog. I also enjoy making jewelry and using power tools to do home repairs and projects.
Working with our amazing patients, helping them to understand their orthodontic options, and then creating a treatment plan for them, allows me to meet some amazing people. I love that I get to help others and, while doing so, get to know about their lives. I learn from each of our patients and their families. When I go home at night, I’m greeted by my husband, who happens to have been my high school sweetheart, and our five children. We like doing things together, including outdoor adventures and snow skiing. Something that many patients don’t know about me: I’ve lived in Geneva, Switzerland, and in Athens, Greece!
I love it that my work allows me to meet great people, to tell them about our incredible practice and Dr. Miller, and to help people understand how our services can change their lives. My job duties include handling correspondence, scheduling events, planning contests, and overseeing our community involvement. My family keeps me busy away from the office. I have three children, a dog named Wiley, and a boyfriend. In what spare time I can find, I enjoy writing, reading, golfing, playing disc golf, and traveling.
Whether you’re calling to schedule an appointment or you’re walking into the office, you’ll be warmly greeted, by me. I want to make sure that you know you’re welcome here and that you’re comfortable. I answer questions, schedule appointments, and do whatever else is necessary to make everything run smoothly. But I always have time to catch up with patients and talk with those new to the office, too. At home, my husband Darin and I are enjoying being empty nesters. We like walking and bicycling, enjoying meals at different restaurants, and spending time with our two adult daughters.
Clinical Assistant, Online Marketing
Whether you’re a veteran patient or a new face around the office, you can be assured that you’re welcome and that you’ll be treated like family. My job involves assisting Dr. Miller in caring for our patients, and I love seeing all of the smiling faces! Getting to know each patient and their family, watching their new smile develop, and then celebrating with them the day the braces come off, are all incredible experiences. When I’m not here at the practice, chances are I’m spending time with my husband, Brandon, and our dogs, Lexi and Remington. I enjoy being outdoors, doing DIY projects and experimenting in the kitchen!
I am responsible for managing our patients and insurance accounts. My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is seeing the awesome smiles on our patients' face when their treatment is completed. I also appreciate our commitment to using state-of the art technology to help our patients get the awesome smiles they want. I take great pride in providing outstanding service to our patients and love how our patients share their life stories with us. Each patient is like a part of my family. My husband, Kevin and I have three girls, Taylor, Ali, and Kelsie. I enjoy watching the three of them play soccer, reading, getting my nails done, and massages!
As an assistant here at Carmel Orthodontics, my job includes many duties that help our patients achieve a really awesome smile. I love getting to know our patients and seeing their smiles transform over the course of their orthodontic treatment! I am married to my love, Sven and we have four children, Kelsey, Connor, Chase, and Mikayla. I enjoy watching my kids’ sporting events, playing games with my family and friends, Bible studies, and cooking in my spare time!
I love being a part of our patients’ orthodontic experience. For me, there’s nothing better than seeing the joy our patients experience when they finish treatment and their anticipation of seeing their fantastic new smiles. I am so happy to be a part of a team that is so kind, patient, and supportive. Everyone here is always willing to share their knowledge and experience so that I can grow with them and become a better assistant. I am very grateful to be a part of this amazing practice!
I have three sons and two amazing grandchildren with whom I love spending time and am amazed at how quickly they grow and what they achieve. I also enjoy cooking, riding my bike, the water, and gardening.
I am excited to be joining Dr. Miller’s team, as I bring with me more than 35 years of experience as an assistant. Our patients are some of the most interesting people I’ve met, and I love talking with them about what’s going on in their lives. Seeing their amazing smiles when we take their braces off is the highlight of my day. Dr. Miller and my coworkers are so experienced and fun, and all very caring with every patient! This really is a great place to work!
I have been married to my husband Todd for 33 years. We are high school sweet hearts! We have three children and three grandchildren with one more on the way. We travel a lot because our children live in different states. We never know where we might end up on the weekends! We are already ready to go with our fur baby, Ruby the doggie.
My job as an assistant allows me to work very closely with our patients. The amount of time I get with them allows me to get to know them in a personal way. I love seeing the excitement they have as their smile begins to change and I love checking in with them on their regular scheduled appointments to see how life is going. Their new smiles make all the hard work worth it!
I’ve been married for two years to my husband Brook, who I met at Grace College where he played baseball and I played soccer. I have very close with my family including my mom, who also works here at the office with me! I enjoy adventuring with my husband with camping trips, bike rides, runs, and anything outdoors. If I’m not at work, I am more likely making something for a craft fair or my Etsy shop.
